It seems that a $90 million price tag is too steep a cost for Warner Bros. Pictures in their desire to adapt one of the most well-known anime of all time. The Hollywood Reporter is suggesting that the development for a live-action Akira movie has been placed in a holding pattern as the studio wishes to bring that price down to around $70 million before giving director Jaume Collet-Serra another green light on the production...
